Cats need you to dangle a little feather in front of them and play tug, carry them up and down stairs when they're feeling lazy, and even pop them into pet-friendly backpacks so they can enjoy some fresh air with you. Cats enjoy watching you do yoga and occasionally participate.
Cats may even need you to climb a tree or a fence to help get them down. Or to lift a couch because they've gotten themselves stuck behind it.
It saddens me that having a pet is too expensive for me. I'm a woman who lives alone, I would love to have a companion animal. A dog to accompany me on walks would be fantastic. But I know how much it costs over time - I simply don't have the means for it. :(

I have trained all of my cats to let me carry them up and down stairs. Even the stray that showed up at my back door a couple years ago.
Or much more likely, they have all been part of a psyop to make me into a cat taxi. And it worked!
