I wouldn't mind priority selection for british nationals (i.e. if you were born here , you're nearer to the top of the list), but outright denying people housing is just needlessly cruel

The Tories can promise what they like, their chances of winning the next election are somewhere between fat and none.

Why do we care what the Tories think. They're not in power and they're unlikely to be in power for at least a generation.

I'd much rather they ban foreign nationals from buying our housing stock, which is having a provable effect on the housing market.
