I studied Japanese for about 11 years. I used to work in the west end, so I'd have Japanese tourists to practise on. They'd always be like, aaah, sugeeee! And tell me how good my Japanese was. I've watched my niece and nephews do their homework and since it's all done online, they literally copypaste the question into chatgpt, then copypaste the answer.
This is what happens when you ditch pen and paper (there have also been studies showing that handwriting activates different parts of the brain that increases memory retention or something like that, too lazy to look it up). Anyway, we can look forward to gen alpha coworkers not knowing how to do anything if this is how they do their homework.
If you wanna do it on the cheap, the most difficult part would be finding sticker paper that will reliably adhere to stone and withstand the elements.
For the rest, could you not just host an obituary on a free site like wp.com or whatever, and make a qr code with the url? Obituaries aren't a thing in my culture, so idk.
