I will say, sometimes you need space/time to settle an argument. Not saying let it hang but I think understanding your partners space/time needs is critical.

Still saying I love you every night helps a ton though!

Saying “We’ll figure this out, I still love you” when you need that time break is the secret code to that balance imo.

Still stressed from the argument but it’s a reminder that it’s not fighting against your partner, but with them against the misunderstanding.

It's bad wording. The message is to not bottle feelings, resolve the issues. Bottling up leads to resentment and that's poison for any relationship.
