Kentucky was labeled “Venecky". Louisiana was "Lookoong." Alabama was “Alotome.” Illinois was “Vitoiis.” South Carolina was "Sorth Cuanto."
"Arizona is Arizone. Illinois starts with a V. I mean, it's crazy," Morris said.

There was an article that came up a little while ago about a new private school that was going to teach the children of wealthy people using AI. I'm starting to think we should encourage this, or at least not discourage it, just sit back and watch.

You know, you’ve got an excellent point.

I can't remember if it was the same school that was going to have the ai sex bot as the teacher
spicehoarder@lemmy.zip · 2 pts · 5d
Probably isn't a whole lot of difference to what goes on in rich private schools anyway.

These are the morons that fully bought into the "AI like in the movies" hype.

The next generations are gonna have an entirely new dialect based on the AI slop that somehow got put in their school textbooks without anyone in the editorial or approval processes saying "hey wait what is this shit?"
They're going to be so screwed, holy shit

So these are obviously screenshots of a video... What was the video about? Was the video itself AI-generated?
(Not challenging you on this or anything, just curious the overall topic)

This map has some pretty funny errors north of the border too. Quebec became Ontaric and Quebec City became Ontawio. And I'm having trouble making out the names it hallucinated for Vancouver and Manitoba, but it looks like Venncouer and Mallnnta.

It's a fucking agenda which gets printed every year on information that isn't changing.
Why have ai generate anything when it could have just printed the same info from any agenda in the previous decade?

To me the sin ain't so much that they used AI, it's that they were so fucking lazy about it that they didn't bother to check it. What else weren't they checking before they used the AI slop?

Austin makes sense, it’s the state capital. San Antonio… remember the Alamo, I guess?
fartographer@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 8d
As someone from San Antonio, it's fine, I guess? We've lost a lot of our culture and replaced it with the desperate stench of trying to fit in. But honestly, our unique culture was pretty toxic and shitty, so m'eh.
I was raised to hate Austin, but yeah, seeing my city on this map makes me want to shout, "shut the fuck up, Austin is talking"
