Damn, this dude has seriously been at it basically his whole life. I feel like the headline kind of undercuts that reality. Bc if you just passed by it thinking somebody who has had like 2 well known roles, has decided he's fed up, you would probably think (like I did at first) "yeah, shit happens. burnout can happen to anybody."
Then I realized who he actually is, and it reframed everything. BC anybody that can spend a lifetime in any industry one day publicly announce they just can't keep doing this, makes me want to know what could have changed so drastically in recent years? Its not like this has ever been a laid back industry to go into, but he started early and stuck it out.
From Wednesday's boyfriend to Isidor Rabi in Oppenheimer.
Edit:
At least that's some wholesome shit. Hoping everything works out for him. Also, realized I had forgotten one of the greatest movies of all time:

Dang! He was in Adam’s Family too? I vaguely remember that. He was probably the very first crush I had on an actor when I was like 9 lol

I just say who? Never heard of this actor, but also not seen either film either. Nor desire especially Supergirl.

I only remember him because he was in The Santa Clause movie in the 90's.

Oh him! I had such a huge crush on that character. I used to play hookie so I could watch it on tv during school hours lol

He's legit a solid character actor. Slums of Beverley Hills was the first thing I saw him in, and he kept up with Natasha Lyonne in it, which is saying a lot. Great movie, btw.

Now I remember Slums of Beverly Hills but damn don't remember him. A picture would of help but found none in the article.

There ya go. Be warned he's in underwear in the image.
Then again, then scene with him singing in his undies is hilarious

Oh shit I know who that is! Wow he is quitting.

Based on what he said, it's meant to be more of a long sabbatical. Just an open ended one where he doesn't know when he'd start trying to act again

He was in a show called Numb3rs in the mid 2000s that got sorta popular for a minute as well as what others have mentioned. I too will always think of The Santa Clause first.

They used to film that in a friend's house occasionally, nice people

Oh damn, I completely forgot Numb3rs existed. As an edgy nerd teen that show was right up my alley!

He was also was in Firefly and even had his own TV show, Numb3rs.

I forgot about 10 things, with Gordon-Levitt! They were both so young!

You can't stop the signal, David.
I've never disliked his acting in anything.
