Skip everything and get to where he ends, please. Only have him actually miss and leave himself a paralyzed mess, unable to do anything for himself. Then give him a maddening itch, but be unable to scratch, or tell his handlers to stop scratching because it causes him a burning sensation, like a hot poker.
