Neither of you are necessarily wrong. Just because the FBI could still track him doesn't mean they are actively looking. Connecting to a VPN in Iran on the other hand might hit a few queries that are being automatically watched.
It's a "Don't make yourself the low hanging fruit" thing not a "If they're trying to eavesdrop on you they won't be able to" one and even then only if you're not using an American OS with built-in automatic surveillance or in fact any network connected product from any large US/UK/Israel (at least) Tech company.
Even if the US Authorities don't give a shit about you, if you're running Windows, Android or iOS or using other products of those companies such as Chrome or their Clouds, you're automatically caught in the bulk dragnet surveillance.
Fun fact: You cannot sign up for a MULTIVERSE account from an Israeli IP address. If you're in Israel and you want to sign up, you must use a VPN. This is to remind Israeli users that everyone hates their government and flag, and we'd all prefer that they adopted a different national identity. Some VPNs offer free plans that don't allow port forwarding, but do allow for social media use.
my interpol agent already knows when i really go off i'll probably have some kind of electromajigger to me so like, they got time. i ain't even got my electro to kajigger yet.
interesting enough, there was interpol providing security at one of the food festivals i was at here in statesia. or they were posing as interpol but [iwanttobelive.gif] and the point is we don't usually get them out here.

If you think a VPN keeps the FBI from monitoring your activity, I've got an incognito tab and a 'Do Not Track' checkbox I can sell you too.

I think by targeting Israeli people, the message being sent is that you hate Israeli people, not the Israeli government.
Also, WTF is a multiverse account?

TBH both, a lot of them fully support the genocide.

Zoophilia isn't illegal in most places so you might want to specify.
ZILtoid1991@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 19h
That would be enough to make the agents traumatized.
(Maybe gore videos would work better, since they're legal for some reason.)
