Ignore the downvotes. Fishing is easy as long as one can be very still and very quiet while maintaining the focus needed to react to a fish. People don't fail at fishing because of lack of "skill." When I was a kid we used to catch tilapia for dinner with a line, a hook, and stale bread. No rod needed. My friend taught me to do it in ten minutes. Not hard.
