Let's see how consequence proof he is when DJT kicks the bucket. I am fairly confident he will be impeached for something Trump would do on a normal Tuesday.
FOXNews was started specifically to prevent anything like Watergate from ever happening again, so mission accomplished, I guess. I hope Roger Ailes is choking on it in hell.
Reagan et al saw Watergate and realized that Nixon was taken down by an independent free press.
Reagan started going after the FCC as soon as he was inaugurated. Previously, there were strict limits on how many TV/radio stations one company could own. No one could own more than one TV and two radio stations in a town [one AM and one FM]. If a station had an editorial, they had to offer equal time to opposing views.
Ailes & Murdoch, with all their sociopathic rat fucking might, specifically started Fox propaganda News so they could sway public opinion and prevent another Republican president had to resign in shame or face impeachment.
So if that is the case, what does that make the Epstine files? Its not in the major news cycle sure (after months of being there) it is still in the common word of mouth news and conversation.
I would like to see how he weights that vs his statement.
