Must be a very old post because nowadays the apes can kill you with a long thing that fires tiny projectiles from a very long distance without you even realising they are there.
No furr to sweat better and unlock infinit stamina. Walk on to legs, butt cheeks rub together, no good, adds back furr in butt crack to remove friction. Most OP character class on the server, with the dirtiest butthole of all.
I never really got the theory about human hunters having better stamina, I think that part is overemphasized. It should really be more on the deadly ranged weaponry with quick time to kill.
Why chase after a meal and get tired when you can send an arrow to the animals lung so you don't have to chase them?
Our ability to sweat is a huge advantage and it ties into our stamina.
If you're unable to hide, good luck getting close to animals without a chase. Ask any bowhunter how close they have to be to their target to be assured they're not going to just wound the animal.
And herds like to live on plains for that exact reason.
Literally why I mentioned shepherds. This motherfucker comes to an ultra marathon and just goes "fuck it, I don't need to sleep for the 500 miles" and gets first place at age 61.

Also recently learned human stomach acid is weird too, apparently. So not just stamina.

I've read pieces contradicting the persistence hunting theory before, here's one : https://undark.org/2019/10/03/persistent-myth-persistence-hunting/

How do you think we hunted before we figured out ranged weaponry?
Gork@sopuli.xyz · -3 pts · 2d
Chuck spear into lung. A little harder to hit with precision, but skill issue

"What existed before ranged weapons?"
"Uh... Different ranged weapons?"

Dude we migrated following herds. We travelled continents on foot. There are shepherds that will literally lead their flock walking days straight.
