Fuel goes bad; I’d love to pile up 300gal (I’d have to mortgage my house…) except lots of it would be unusable by the time I got to it.

It's called fuel stabilizer and it works for up to like a year or two depending on a lot of factors.

Honestly the goal shouldn't be to stockpile but divest if you can. Invest in dry goods, canned goods, and proper storage. If you can, move closer to your community of choice. Talk to your neighbors. Secure safe water supply. As the system buckles, nobody knows how it will fall; stay light and ready.
