This tells me it's worth watching.
Unlike, say, Melania.

From what I can tell, Melania is a train wreck that somehow is hard to keep watching. It's not even good enough for the ironic lols.

I watched it. (I had hard drive space to spare 🤷♂️) It was awful. It was like a 90 minute ad without any background about her.
You’d think a documentary would talk about where a person grew up and their early life, but not this one. It just talks about how she’s a fashion designer and some other bullshit that I kinda zoned out on.

You have to wait for the Epstein files to be released before her backstory is unlocked.
I guess it sort of is an ad in the most depressing way imaginable.

The reviews were worth reading, though. Film critics REALLY brought out the big guns when it came to creative ways to express how much it sucked.

They left out this exchange (as described in this Hollywood Reporter article):

Someone struck a Nazi nerve.

A person secure with themselves would simply ignore the documentary or respond with commentary about how freedom of expression is good and healthy. But this is Elon we’re talking about, so being a mentally inept, petulant fucking child is more his speed. He loves freeze peach until it comes for him. People that have nothing of value to say will always defer to punching down and name-calling.

Dogshit is worth more respect than Elon Musk? Finally, something we can agree with him on!

It must be good

It must be accurate

It got a five minute standing O from the Venice festival crowd, and that after the four hour runtime. So I’d say, yeah. Sounds good.
shartgargle@lemmy.zip · 5 pts · 1d
Holy crap, 4 hours?!?

I will listen carefully to Elon Musk's grievances once he releases that "historically accurate" version of the Odyssey.
Do you remember saying that Elon?
IchNichtenLichten@lemmy.wtf · 13 pts · 1d
To be fair he was probably off his tits on ketamine at the time.
RestrictedAccount@lemmy.world · 15 pts · 1d
He was also off his tits on ketamine when he destroyed as much of the US government as he could
He was also oof his tits on ketamine when he funded the modern rise of Nazis in Germany

I'm sensing a pattern emerging here.

It was a day that ended in “-y”, yeah

I'll release the historically accurate version. It has cup holders. And cruise control. And two masts.
antianarchist@sopuli.xyz · 9 pts · 1d
Without his comments, I wouldn’t have the urge to watch it.
So thanks Elon for the exceptional marketing.

Oh, now I want to see it.
