This has been one of my favorite quotes in these times. We must do our bests.
Meet your neighbors. Feed some people. Go learn about local opportunities to organize. Ask yourself what you can do to support and improve your community.
I'm trying to find where I can get involved in organizing. I'm still learning how to be a functional independent person and have many limitations, but I'm learning how to do work on my car- in the furture I may do oil changes for folks I know as a form of mutual aid.
I don't know if anything I can do will be enough. But I know I need to be able to look back and know that I tried. And maybe if enough people feel the same way and do something about it, maybe we have a chance.
Canonically Hobbits are only like 90#s on the high end. It'd feel like a 10yo kicking you. I taught taekwondo to kids - it'd hurt but less than you'd think, depending on where it lands.
You left out the part where frodo got stabbed a couple of times and never really recovers. Even after the one ring is destroyed he falls ill every year on the anniversaries of Shelob and Weathertop.
These times will take their toll and forever change us.

Wait, I thought LOTR was supposed to be fantasy.

This is fantasy working as (Tolkien) intended.

I've quoted this several times this decade already. It's pretty fucking relevant.

Not having kids, that's for sure.
P.S I know this image isn't AI because it uses runes on the clock face, and AI isn't creative enough to make that sort of choice.

Let's say they have a lot of weight and muscle in those legs and feet. So it would be like getting slapped with a 10lb bag of po-ta-toes.
