Uh huh. If your idea of communism involves militarization of the state or dictatorship in any form, you're not a communist, you're just a fascist in red. The only strawman here is you trying to pretend it's only anti-communists who call people tankies and not actual leftists who aren't cool with genocidal dictatorships.

I don't know which type of society would be better and work long term and on a large scale. I do know, however, that capitalism and nation states have failed spectacularly and we need to try something else. And it's most likely not something that's been tried so far.
