Switching engines sometimes is a good idea. If you can rough estimate the timelines for both engines you might be surprised. Just don't absolutely commit with analysis. Your time estimates will be wrong but they both will be wrong based on the same assumptions.

This might be overkill for your project but you already have the hard part of making a game in unreal figured out. You can model and animate. You can get really really far in Unreal without coding at all, just by using Blueprints(visual scripting). Look into making a game in Unreal Engine with Blueprints only.

This so much. Imagine growing up around gun violence and poverty. You could easily end up in a gang where you commit a couple of armed robberies and are involved in a couple of murders. The question is, what will this person do when a some wannabe gestapo show up trying to arrest them.

I would bet on them being such cowards they never would cock their guns because they are not ready to kill another person. Why else would the brownshirts always point their guns at people? They don't understand what a firearm actually is.

I mostly have had to use windows servers over my career. I get so fucking happy when I can use a Linux server.

You have no idea how correct you are. I moved from a small town to a massive city and after a while I noticed there was a lot less overweight people and people were just generally in better shape.

Move somewhere where you don't need a car and can walk and take public transit. Humans are not built to drive around everywhere and only walk in parking lots.

I am on a new team learning a new language and new frameworks, I can use all of the code review I can get. I need feed back, before I put a bunch of garbage into the code base. Code review is needed for new team members.

I am in the computer science field, so the answer is a bunch, us nd people accel in fields that interest us. Plus my personal friends and family members.

Without the Chinese purchases, the prices are too low to make harvesting profitable or at least if they have no buyer, they get no profit. The beans will die and rot in the fields. Then next year comes around and they don't have any money to plant new crops. I am not sure if insurance for crops is a thing anymore in the US but next spring the fields might be empty.

I know two neurodivergent people that love trains, one is into models and the other trainspotting. They are correct too, trains are awesome.

Webp's purpose is to display images on web pages in a format that allows fast loading and rendering. When a user downloads or views an image it should be served in a better format. Webp serves it's purpose perfectly. Don't try to download a background of a webpage with the expectation that it will be in a format that is not beneficial to the pages function.

You are correct, useEffect can be dangerous if you don't know exactly what you are doing. I would go so far as to say that most people use it incorrectly. This includes myself, I am not great at using React and end up using it in the wrong places, which according to a colleague, it should just be avoided if possible.

I am a lazy DevOps developer, I spend half my time developing software with another team because I got everything to run so smoothly, I only had a small amount of maintenance tasks left to do. I am going for three 9's for the one pipeline this year. It could have been that or better already but nobody works on weekends, so if it goes down nobody will take care of it until Monday morning.
