What a lot of people fail to realize is that the whole industry is based on selling a fantasy. It's no different then getting the girl friend experience from a prostitute. I don't think there's a meaningful difference between a real person and an AI in these industries.
IMO it's only a problem when the customer doesn't understand that they're buying an illusion.
Facebook really flipped the script on how to act online. They made it acceptable to just post all your personal information online despite all previous advice to do the opposite.
All of my issues have been due to the immutable distro since I can't follow most instructions on installing apps and I don't want to just shove everything in a distrobox.
I still like it but it definitely takes some getting used to.
Bazzite is what I went with when I decided to ditch Windows and was surprised at how well it worked. The atomic nature of the distro takes some getting used to but for gaming it's been perfect.
I'm having a similar issue. Every time I try to update, it says there are no new updates even though I see additional updates listed. I'm not sure if it's the result of a delay in release or if my tag got expired and I need to do a rebase to fix the issue.
Star Trek Enterprise explains that it involves medical intervention to allow interbreeding between species. I've always assumed that's what was going on for everyone.
I have a number of indoor grow systems that have LED lights on a timer. I guess now I need to start worrying about the police raiding my house to seize my crop of lettuce and tomatoes.
There's a program called Mine on the Google Play store that's a note taking application designed to look like a social media app (like Twitter/Mastodon).
I'm pretty much the same as you. A lifelong Windows user who got fed up with the direction windows is going. I just recently switched to Linux for my new gaming PC and I haven't had any major issues. The only thing I still haven't figured out how to do yet is modding.
As for which distro to use, I would recommend something that comes with the graphics drivers already installed to reduce any initial setup difficulty.
I use Bazzite on my machine. It's a Linux gaming distro which comes with all the stuff you'll need to get right into gaming. It's an immutable distro so it's pretty difficult to really mess it up but it also makes things a bit more difficult to install anything that isn't a flatpak.

He owns half the company so I'm not sure if he can be ousted.
I don't think he can be removed. Mullvad is 100% owned by its two co-founders.

Panic and fear is the bread and butter of news media. From what I understand, hantaviruses aren't something that causes pandemics like corona viruses.
It's just news media fear mongering and regular people posting COVID trauma.

I find it amazing how so many bad things in America can be traced back to Reagan.
That's absolutely wild. They took her car so she took their name.
I have a number of indoor grow systems that have LED lights on a timer. I guess now I need to start worrying about the police raiding my house to seize my crop of lettuce and tomatoes.
It's crazy how big the political divide has gotten that I wish Democrats were as "bad" as Republican fear mongering portrays them.

What exactly is Snap and why does everyone hate it?
When Trump heard that the president is "the leader of the free world", he took it literally and thinks he's the ruler of the world.
He's evil. I honestly can't think of a single policy he has supported that wasn't cruel or stupid.
I switched to Bazzite for my new gaming PC and it's worked great without any major issues.
The only problem I have is that I'm still not sure how to install software that isn't through flatpak or package layering.
