To be fair, the Germans weren't the only ones cheating emissions tests. As far as I've heard, Harley-Davidson used special tunes on their bikes to pass emissions testing. Never heard of BMWs just randomly bursting into flames, though, gotta look into that.
I don't know about US car makers, but I can imagine them having done similar stuff
It's funny how much of a joke the German car brands have become.
VW shoving touch controls down our throats, BMW selling their cars after they've been already sold, Audi and Mercedes sticking fake exhausts on their $70k cars, and all of them just desperately catering to the Chinese market while simultaneously not getting EVs...
I really hope the AI bubble pops soon and takes at least some of these stupid companies with it. They've been operating at a GIANT loss for years at this point, how much longer will this go on?
Of course they want to make upgrading more attractive because it is less attractive now that it ever has been.
If you want people to buy new stuff, making that stuff different from the old stuff they already own would be a good idea.
In a sane socioeconomic system there would still be a chance for him to lose it all
I guess by better I mostly mean "without AI"
Fair, but aren't there better solutions for this already?
So it's just another solution in search of a problem basically?
What was even the point of this; what was the intended use case?
I'm serious, I have no idea who this is for. Other than to show people that their AI can badly superimpose pictures of Godzilla over maps.

Why does that thing remind me of the Zimmer Quicksilver? I guess the body lines are similar.
Nice car. Both I mean.
That's how my arms looked like after being in Australia for 6 weeks last year lol
You did good, mate.
Shiba Inus are pretty dogs, but also among the most expensive for that reason.
You mean the company that literally hasn't done anything apart from selling a novelty flamethrower once?
Edit: I forgot about The Loop... what fantastic thing that was
Relevant Vinesauce clip
This, but as a compact and without Bezos.
It has to get worse before it gets better I guess
I wonder how much cheaper a car without any crap in it could be today if they still manufactured them at scale
I think I'd get a Keychron or a Unicomp if I didn't have my Model M.
I hate that I started to wish for the deaths of people I don't even know outside of news coverage, but that's what it takes unfortunately

Thought it looked familiar... I hate that place so much
