I actually backed their Kickstarter, and after several years of delay received 2 d20s.
I ordered mine with opaque surfaces so the light only shines through the numbers. The app has no payment or subscription, but allows you to customise the lights to be different depending on what you roll (like a crit or a nat 1 for example). They were also supposed to connect to roll20 but i don't think that ever rolled out. They also work without charge because the numbers remain visible, even when not illuminated.
All said, expensive shiny dice are very shiny, not worth the time/money, but very shiny.
What about the time that 3 adult men use terrible costumes to imitate the Power Puff Girls and nobody can tell who is who despite... like... everything
There is a book that is fairly old and potentially outdated called "freakonomics" which includes a chapter basically analysing "if drug dealers make so much money, why do most of them live with their mothers and have a second job at fast food".

I knew a guy who stared a boxer company with a sort of built in pouch for "the fruit" to prevent chaffing and stuff. The company had the genius name of Dosco Jones. Don't know if they are still around though
Lots of good advice here already so I'll just suggest a content creator on YouTube called "MS Paints". In this case MS stands for multiple sclerosis, yet the man has plenty of mini painting videos
2x10 grots is definitely a good choice. You can get a beadtboss on squigasaur for the squighogs to get a really high treat blob. Getting some basic Ork Boyz is also always good if you are getting into orks. Eventually you will want more trukks and a warboss. But getting what you vibe with is definitely the general best way to go.
There are also a couple Ork discords you can join if you want.
Also a classic for a failed perception check, particularly when there is no trap: "You don't see the trap".
