I feel seen.

Recently also banned from Reddit. The messages inbox didn't even have the decency to tell me what my ban-worthy comment was.

(I probably broke the "remember the human" rule. But what always astounds me is that whenever I insult people online, it's due to whomever it is breaking that same rule, and for some reason Reddit being fine with it).

I'm not going back.

They wouldn't be 'freedom loving' or 'American' if they actually gave a shit about other people.

For some reason, I think the most likely bad parts of AI trains will be that some of the cars will be misshapen (some won't even have seats), and you will have to pay a subscription to even take the train.

What's our opinion on thanking God for blessing doctors with the talent to save your life/lives of others? A bit more empathetic?

(I'm not suggesting this is necessarily my belief, but for those who profess a love for God/Allah/etc, I think it is fair to both thank the creator they believe in as well as the people who work on them on earth).

I suppose it depends which type of apocalypse we are talking about. A zombie outbreak would, at least theoretically, leave infrastructure mostly intact. Nuclear war wouldn't.

I concur.

One only has to look at how many people make cars their entire personality to see why building society around car-centric design is wrong.

Do you haul lots of stuff with your truck? It sounds like you do. Therefore, you're not just some asshole who buys a truck for the 'manliness' factor. Good on you for choosing a vehicle that suits your needs.

Those who only ever haul groceries or frat boys are the ones who shouldn't be driving trucks.
