Keep that tinfoil hat close, I have a feeling Digital identification laws and ReadID technologies are actually moving the internet away from user anonymity, enabling a framework where users can be tied to real-world identities and easily sanctioned.
Make a post on the internet that someone objects to? boom, you just lost access to all your bank accounts.
I mean people connected to Peter Thiel are already bragging how they would love to do that
Sorta kinda. There might have been a poet we know as Homer, but the consensus is he did not "write" the trojan war poems (we only have two out of the eight - illiad and Odyssey). People have been arguing about this before any of us were born
I'm playing re5 now for the first time - I really don't think I'm gonna be able to finish it. The AI assistant girl is a fucking mess and constantly wasting ammo when I'm trying to save ammo, and it's just an action game. Feels like grand theft auto with checkpoints or something. I have no idea how they could have gone from re4 to re5 honestly.
I just don't think there is anything of substance there to remake... It's just not really a good game (and I'm not playing co-op, apparently that's the only good thing about the game)
I really think the left were the canary in the coal mine with this entire Israel issue. I personally know people who didn't give a fuck about Gaza during the election, who are now really wondering why shit is the way it is, who are slowly realizing (in their own ways) how it's all connected.
I sometimes wonder if the Microsoft haters are in a bubble or if people who remember just how fucked up Microsoft was are just starting to age out at this point. I would like to think that Anyone who follows security related news and current tech news are also aware just how shit Microsoft is (and always was), but again, I migjt be very biased lol
Me, and the rest of the member of the various unix enthusit groups I belong to, would never ever ever want anything to do with Microsoft unless we are forced to use it for some stupid reason.
For all we know, there might have been one person high up in the chain of command that is not aware just how fucking bad Microsoft is.
I have a feeling a lot of people will be asking NASA a lot of questions about it, now that there is a huge spotlight on it.
Bro, are you fucking 12 or something? Your logic is based on a false statement "impossible to be a good person and be very rich". This article is literally about that topic, Tim is shit, Gabe isn't.
Also, don't be a dumb ass and assume you know what's best to spend other people's money on. I can give countless examples of ways to spend a billion dollars that are to the betterment of humanity, but your problem is really with the shit government of the USA (I assume your from the USA, cause tour a dumb ass).
It's the government job to help people, but the US government is doing the opposite. Look how China and other Socialist countries help their citizens and address basic human needs.
I would maybe give you this - Your anger is better suited aimed at the US government, and your anger might be linked to how big money has captured the US government (hence your anger with Billionaires), but trust me, it's not expensive to buy these fucktard politicians, and billionaire interests are a problem - but you really need to jump off these stupid little catch phrases that are not true.
Get off that stupid high horse that you can't be a good Billionaire. It's for sure true in most cases, but not all cases. Give me concrete examples of evil Gabe has done, George Lucas has done, etc
What's going on with Harris nowadays? His letter to a Christian nation was great, I loved the talks he had years ago with Rogan about AI (he was no fan of G-AI or whatever it's called now (AGI?)). I haven't kept up with him in years. I always knew he was a bit over the top with his views on Islam back then, I'm curious where he stands now on stuff
I think it's mostly because most roads have low speed limits. The other states have everyone driving like 90 everywhere. NJ is 40-55 in many roads (yeah I know people still drive really fast, but statistically the state has lower speed limits)
It's absolutely worth watching - still the best TV I ever watched. The problem is that the book Author is an absolutely amazing writer, and the show runners were not good writers, so when the show surpassed the books, it was obvious (this is essentially the last two seasons). The show runners also rushed the ending because they were told Disney had a Star wars trilogy waiting for them. GoT easily could have been another 3 seasons to have a proper ending
The real nerds know
Honestly he's pretty hilarious when he loses his chill š¤£

Bro, you actually went through the effort to type and hit send on this. Maybe try to sit back and relax, not all things need your commentary

Yes, I think we are on the same page on this one lol

Yes, that's exactly the point being made. Tim is basically the movie villain version of a greedy CEO

The unending mystery box and MacGuffin type of show really needs its own category lol. Lost, X-files, Fringe

The gov will just require them to add backdoors
