Once morons started doing shots off park benches, the fights started, and the property destruction started. An otherwise peaceful and heavily medicated gathering turned into a riot with just a handful of handles.
The point is that cultivation is not conducive to a natural habitat.

Modern humans have never figured out a good balance to work with nature. Native Americans came closest with the Three Sisters and forage style harvests. The vast majority of people are too focused on production to ever truly care about the impact of their garden on the wider environment.

The vast majority of my career has been waking up at 4am and going to sleep at 8 or 9pm. Thats easy to fall into and even when you're off your body just knows when its time to sleep and when its time to get up. Ive gotten up on time a few times despite the alarms failing to go off for whatever reason. You want good sleep? Set wake up and bedtime. Your body will adjust.
Unfortunately this trope makes up about 85% of Chinese media, so its never going anywhere. Pretty much every single story with cultural value boils down to someone had daddy issues and made it everyone else's problem.

Indianapolis has a population density of 2500 people per square mile. SF has about 19,000 in the same space. Seattle is about 10,000. Denver and Nashville are around 5k and 1.5k respectively, so you're getting closer. LA is way back up about about 9k. You see why these things aren't the same?
Chicago has the density, but its glory days are long past. Its just not able to compete with better placed city centers. Not with the state of rail.

Its a boring backwaterthat blew out every dollar it ever made on anything but maintenance. Im honestly shocked every year it manages not to sink into the swamp it was built over. You people are lucky the place isnt named shittycaca

And that's why people build cities next to water pretty much any chance they get. No matter how efficient your transportation system is on land, it cant beat floating stuff on water. Look at history. The best cities always have water (and boats) nearby.

You can only abuse them system for so long before all you have left is blood sucking lawyers and corrupt cops. LA is getting there, but our port is way better. Same for NY
