It was like this further back than 2005. I worked retail in the mid 90s and it was the same. And if the signatures didn't match, well. Oh well. We had no power to do anything about it. The number of self-righteous idiots I had who thought that they were clever when they would sign their cards as Mikey mouse and then freak the hell out when I never bothered to check because it didn't matter if it was signed Mickey Mouse or Ronald Reagan and you signed the receipt with your actual name. We couldn't do anything! God they'd get so mad. Thank god we had great management that would back us.

You can theme it to change icons and sizes and such, which helps a little. But I agree, the interface is a nightmare. Ever since v3 came out, my layers window has disappeared and I can't find it. That's a kind of important panel to hide away :(

OSM's reliability is very locational. I seem to be the only one that updates my area, which works out well as I have access to where future roads will be, (and I need them on the map for my job) but man. Construction here is crazy and a little assistance would be nice! At least OSM actually accepts my edits and additions, though. Google denies every single one, thus continuing the legacy of shit mapping by them.

For a much more people oriented answer: I'm trying to survive. I'm trying to make sure my dad takes his medication right so he doesn't die. I'm trying to figure out how to pay bills when the local government I work for gave everyone a 2% cost of living raise, then raised taxes 3% and gave the city manager a $26,000 raise even though he was already being paid close to $200k. The only other person I know that doesn't think trump and all his cronies are the bees knees is elderly, has no retirement and is desperately trying to keep working despite health issues because her husband has cancer and she needs to keep working to pay his bills. Even if I made a ton of money and had help with my dad, I still wouldn't be able to do anything because of my health, either (I am 100% that friend who would get eaten by the zombies first) I'm not young anymore, either.

I think the internet makes it seem like a lot more people hate what's going on than there actually is. In my experience, i see a small number of crazy Trump fanatics, a small number of concerned and scared people, and then the vast majority just don't care. At least for now. That'll change when they started being affected. By then it'll be too late.

To sum up: more people don't give a shit than do. We haven't reached the part of the poem where "Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak out for me. "

I think the number of large trucks on the road is very dependent on location. I'm in the Deep South, and they are everywhere. I'm actually one of only two people at my job who don't have a giant truck. The other is my boss. Coincidentally, we are also the only two women who work here. She's got an older minivan, and my car is 15 years old. Oh wait, one guy drives his girlfriend's Jeep. I forgot about him.

Did you ever use Google Photos to store your pics? That is what has my Gmail/google storage at 99% full, even though it's been over a decade since I used it and I disconnected it from all my accounts.. except apparently not. You can go through the steps to disconnect, it looks like it works, but it doesn't. I currently have an iPhone, and if I try to delete all the photos in Google Photos, it will still sync with my phone and also delete the same photos on my phone. No matter what I do, I can't severe that connection. And so I'm stuck at 99%

This is my daily as I struggle to find a medication that does ANYTHING for me. Maybe it's just all me.
