Actually when the context is the apparent size of an object in the sky, I imagine that the diameter is the first thing that comes to mind. That's very cool. They grew the NbSe2 between a graphene monolayer and SiO2 to prevent degradation. I'm looking forward to reading the actual paper when I have more time and access to see what precursor they used to work well in that small space and how they enabled growth in that 1nm gap.

I think it makes sense to pick up arguments for views you oppose and address them properly in an essay, although I think that should serve a proper analysis where you give those arguments a fair chance, but also have the freedom to point out their flaws.
But I always felt that arguing for any view, assigned by chance, like in debate clubs for example, gave way to accepting a certain ambiguity of truth. Being confronted with different arguments and weighing them is an improtant skill to be learned and if your analysis is set up to reach a certain conclusion, it strips you of the open-endedness, that is actually needed.

Unterdrückung/Mobbing, Großrechner/Server). Auch ulkig find die Anglizismen, die entweder schon ewig im Deutschen verbreitet sind und/oder gar keinen rein englischen Ursprung haben wie 'Video'.

I'm not at all convinced, that that is a much healthier attitude than trying to have the company you built up often with loads of work continue to operate according to your (ethical) standards. And then there is the people buying the company, which will with acquisition be actually in the exact same position to have this company completely for the sole purpose of profit. That draws a worse psychological picture in my book. I also really don't think that it is so easy to get a business going so that it becomes growing and worth a billion dollars like you make it sound.
What I've found annoying with smart TVs in my family is also their start up time. Displaying the company logo for a minute before you can actually do or display anything is for some reason much more annoying than turning on my ten year old TV and then watch the even older laptop boot into xubuntu for a minute.
Was ich echt ätzend finde, ist auch, dass inzwischen jede einfache, herkömmliche Internetsuche viel miserablere Ergebnisse liefert als mittels LLM-Prompt, nicht weil die KI so toll ist, sondern weil die Suchmaschinenergebnisse alle mit KI-Schlömpe vollgerotzt sind. Zig nichtssagende Artikel zu einer Suchanfrage, die vor drei Jahren oder so noch vernünftige Ergebnisse zu Tage gefördert hätte.🙄
I slightly wonder how hard it is to find individuals who have not contracted COVID even once. I think all the people I know got it at one point or another.
Why is screen size important in this context? Sure, my TV is much bigger than my phone, but it is also multiple meters away. Considering the part those screens take up of my field of view, I'd say my phone is 'effectively bigger' than my TV.
