This is cool but I think it needs to have cloud saves to compare it to Plex.
I'd consider something like this if it also had the ability to keep track of and update game versions. Although I don't think that's realistic to consider at the moment.
I don't know why they don't find a better way to subsidize it. Like once purchased and played for x amount of hours $200 of steam credit is put on the account.
Or they get 30% off 5 games they buy in steam with the account that activated the console.
It's worth mentioning that someone made a video game about your consciousness getting downloaded to this screen saver environment among other 90s screensavers.
The kids do all the daily cleaning, they still don't have janitors. The school still has maintenance workers. I'm certain the large machinery would be handled by them and would be considered part of maintenance and not cleaning.
I think you are right in that the schools are smaller, every square inch of urban area feels like 15 minute city material. So everything people need in daily life is within reach, small but numerous. I'm no expert though, just a tourist who visits his Japanese friends and asks lots of questions 😅
In school, they don't have janitors. Because all the kids do the cleaning it takes the students about 15 minutes a day in school to clean it.
I think it's the same in Taiwan.
I wonder if Westerners had to clean at school if it affects us on a societal level to clean like that. Or if the larger social pressure isn't there for people to help like that.
My first time in Japan I was so confused as to why it was so clean yet there were hardly any garbage cans anywhere. You had to return your garbage to the vendor you bought your food from, and not stray far from them, or bring it home. There was the rare garbage can.
I'm not sure I've ever heard anyone who hates some, understands it means they "woke up".
The word has become so twisted to them I feel safe in saying "wake up" and having them never draw any similarities to "woke". But would be interested in seeing them notice that.
Sometimes I like to think what strong and primary values a "perfect" (within possibility) society would have. And the main answer I come up with is empathy. Empathy first, then a strong rejection of lies, misinformation and superstition and a high value for truth and authenticity.
I remember reading about self aware psychopaths that were raised in an environment where empathy was valued more than anything. So they consciously choose prosocial behavior not out of felt empathy, but out of rational self-interest. Knowing that prosocial behavior is most beneficial framework to live in. Therefore they choose it.
I think I know some people like this. They are predisposed to steamroll people, but all they read is about how to be kind and ethical, how to take care of their staff. The have ended up being one of the kindest people I know but I can tell it's from a lot of learning and work to become that way.
For once, I'd like to see one of these people say they no longer support MAGA or anything close to that because they woke up and developed empathy for other people.
Every time it's "oh, it finally affected me from getting mine, so now I don't like it."
They didn't drastically change their values. These people are still ripe for the next grift that comes along.
It's an app for keeping track of and reporting bird sightings.
Ushuaia is the port city for everyone going to Antarctica for tourism. Every ornithologist I've worked with on Antarctica bound tourism vessels has talked about going to the Ushuaia dump. This feelsike such a deep cut 😂
Same goes for visiting northern communities in the Arctic.

After the COVID trucker protests, the Canadian flag became a red flag.
After the ongoing Albertan separation scandal, the Canadian flag has been redeemed and the Albertan flag is a red flag.
I think you found the explanation, I like this answer.
I didn't realize that was controversial for the general population.
It kind of looks to me like most people love sales, Amazon Prime day and black Friday.

I wasn't expecting a Myst reference. Love me a good boardwalk though.

Oh cool, meteoroid, with that guy Seamus the bounty hunter!
I'm so happy you get to be your true self!
Once a week or two for me before I got my labrador retriever.
Now once or twice a day vacuum and mop of the floor by the robo cleaner 😅
Would never do it that often if I had to do by hand.

Mine definitely came in because he's a hungry labrador and wants food or is trying to convince me to take him on a walk 😅
I was so excited to see where the show would go. It was a really cool premise.
The comment history on this one shows a lot of weird data center sympathy and criticisms for Ukraine.
I thought they were a Russian bot but it's more like a victim of Russian bots propaganda.
Wind turbines kill less birds than houses and any building like data centers.
Data centers are loud in sound and dangerous infrasound.
This person doesn't even care about birds just wants a talking point against wind turbines.
I had no interest in this movie before. Now I do. Thanks officers!

Want good arctic Fox photos? Go to the town dump.
