This is pretty much why I went full netrunner with a side of tech sniper. No need for twitch reaction when the game is effectively slow motion in combat.
Same way it's done now, only with the profit staying with the workers.

There was once a thought that the linden tree had a sap that was toxic to bees. A paper that I found claims that the more likely cause of bee death is actually starvation. The flowers of fhe linden tree have little or no nectar late in their flowering stage, but the presence of small amounts of caffeine may mislead bees into believing they are finding a food source. This paper recommends planting alternate late summer flowering plants nearby.
I don't think ads for gambling, drugs, fad diets etc. Should be shown to anyone. But I especially think that they (or any advertising) should be knowingly shown to children.
It almost makes me want to push for an advertising freeze on anyone who can't or won't prove their ID and age.
But I know it won't actually result in companies lobbying against requiring ID, it would just result in them lobbying to advertise more directly to children.
As bad as copyright laws are, they are made even worse when they are applied to everyday people via life-altering fines, and often ignored completely when applied to giant corporations.
They will have to exist in a system which I think we can all agree is corrupt to the point that it cannot be repaired.
They have a choice, they can silently watch as justice is applied unevenly. Allowing their coworkers to steal and murder with next to no oversight. This would (I feel) mean that ACAB applies to them just as much as anyone else.
Or they can try to do something about it, try to fight the system through direct action or documenting/exposing the bad cops for the media. Almost always the result of trying to reform the police system from within is expulsion (one way or another) from the police. If the police excise any good cops from their own ranks, then you are again left with ACAB being satisfied.
Edward Snowden is an example of the police identifying and elimination any good cops from their own ranks to ensure that ACAB still stands.
yeah, in retrospect, Tunic probably shouldn't be on this list. I was fondly remembering the puzzles and exploration and less so the souls-like combat challenges.
Exploration focused games that are pretty calm (for the most part). They are some of my personal favorites. I recommend not looking up much about them (especially Outer Wilds and Tunic. Learning mechanics from gameplay is part of the game for those two). Tunic is probably the most action oriented of the lot, (like old Zelda games) and it leans hard on the puzzle aspect, so if that's not your favorite then it might not be for you.
I keep imagining a world where if you declare something illegal (when it's not) and you are found to have done it, it amounts to the courts treating it as though it actually is illegal, but just for the accuser. I feel like it would clean up a lot of frivolous lawsuits and political bullies.
It would probably cause a lot more problems though, and likely wouldn't be applied fairly. Like all laws.
The people who don't wash their hands seem to believe that the only reason to wash is if they get pee on themselves.
I have to imagine they only bathe if they pee their pants or something.
They don't seem to have a problem with people touching their genitals or dirty surfaces and then immediatly handling other people's food, shaking hands, or sucking on their fingers.
Charging from 0 to 100% really shouldn't be the goal here.
Ideally you would be charging to about 80% for just daily use, and only going 100% if you are planning a longer trip.
Unlike a gas car, you don't want to wait until it gets to 0% before you start charging it. Just plug it in when you get home and it'll recoup whatever you used that day.

More people or things contributing to a goal does not always add more security/efficiency/capability to achieve said goal.
A classic example is a length of chain.
The more individual links, the more weight the chain as a whole needs to be able to carry.
Each link needs to be able to support the weight of the load and the weight of the entire length of the chain.
More links also introduces more opportunities for links with failure points to be included.
