Accepting a common flaw among humans is not me giving up on a better world, it's just accepting that the better world must account for this flaw.

You gotta remember that no one except known communists are pitched lemmy on the basis that it's developed by a communist. Everyone else gets that fact omitted.

It's incredibly annoying that we should have the fastest bullet train network and we don't.

I absolutely love Vintage Story, but I dunno if it's the best suggestion for someone who doesn't like games that can feel like a life simulator. If watching pies rise isn't your thing, you're really gonna hate when you look away for a few seconds and come back to burnt pie. XD

Yeah I mean, they were pretty clear that there were gonna be bugs, but I can understand the frustration. For me it's about building houses, and playing as your character is just a minor annoyance needed to get more money. XD

I also had bugs on launch, but only a few and they were minor. Software is weird.

I have the "Edward Kelly" achievement in Kingdom Come Deliverance due to brewing 15 types of potions. Only 3.3% of players have it, which is pretty high compared to most of the ones posted here, but it's still a little interesting. Brewing potions in the game is a bit boring, and you can easily buy all the ones you need, so it's understandable why few people would get it. I just kinda decided one day I wanted to get to auto-brew level of skill and that meant lots of potion. Might as well make as many different kinds as I can, and auto-brew requires you've done it once already anyway.

Sounds pretty burnt out to me. You just got there 10-15 years before mother Earth apparently.

It's not unreasonable. A few folks have developed it after getting vaccinated against COVID. To anyone thinking they might skip on the vaccine for your reason: don't. Health outcomes are still way way better if you get the vaccine.

Nah those are legit different things.

The sympathetic/parasympathetic disregulation probably responsible for some MECFS cases is a different mechanism from the immune system disregulation probably responsible for others. Though, it is unlikely that just general stress would get you MECFS, you're probably burnt out, which is also a real thing but different.

Key question: do you have an effort limit, and will surpassing that effort limit cause your body to revolt (sometime within the next ~24 hours) as well as lower your effort limit for future episodes?
