My first ever Linux install, I just went for it. I backed up my media, played around in the live environment for 5 minutes or so, then I wiped the drive and installed. No dual boot, no VM, just bare metal. That was 10 years ago, and I have never looked back.
Okay, thanks. That seems like solid advice. I don't mind tweaking and fiddling with settings at all, so that's not an issue. I'll check some of it out.
Honestly, I'd love to do something like that. Unfortunately I live in Korea, and my Korean is fairly limited, so I would mostly be lost. But maybe if I get good enough with it, I can organize get-togethers in the local immigrant community.
That's a funny coincidence. Happy printing! Let me know how it goes. But yeah, some other commenters suggested I get a filament dryer, which is probably a good idea.
Awesome, thanks for the advice. I'll definitely check out his channel. Designing stuff myself still intimidates me a little, but I suppose the best way to get over that is to just do it.
Lunduke has a distro now?

Hail Eris!
Thanks for the response. I'll see what I can dig up about some of the AliExpress brands; perhaps one of them has some consistency.
Okay, thanks. That makes sense. I'll see what info I can get on the various AliExpress brands, read reviews and so on.
That's curious, about the red filament. And thanks for the detailed response. I appreciate it.
Okay, cool. Thanks for the response. I'll take it into consideration.

Well, that's terrifying.
I hadn't heard of them, so I don't know enough to have an informed opinion. I'll check them out.
Try njal.la
I registered my domain through them, and they didn't even ask for my name.
Oh, all the damn time. My partner gets genuinely annoyed at me because I'm constantly apologizing.
John Brown has entered the chat.
I am not in the US, no. I live in Korea. But I'm sure I can find something similar here. Thanks.
Thanks, that's good advice. I do plan to start small and simple.

Okay, great. Thanks for the Youtube recommendations. I'll make some time to watch those channels, for sure.

Thanks for the thorough comment. I'm looking at filament dryers now, and I'll definitely get some cleaning stuff as well.
