But no, the German government has not manipulated anyone into murdering queer people. Religion has manipulated its followers into hating people for who they were born as. don't forget Christians and Muslims are literally cut from the same cloth - both are pretty much just offshoots of Judaism. Judaism itself is just a random tribal religion (of which there have been countless thousands) that somehow didn't get dropped and forgotten about as humans moved into the modern era. It's frankly weird that over half the world's population belong to one of these Jewish sects (and also a bit funny that there are only a handful of million who follow the OG Jewish religion).
And yes it's frustrating that so many people are so stupid as to base their lives around something that collapses under the slightest objective scrutiny, and probably not surprising that a not-insignificant number of them want to literally kill followers of all the other offshoots.

I have seen cats with equally clean cuts on their ears that were definitely from fighting - although maybe not as much of the ear missing as she's got! Clipping ears to indicate a cat is spayed sounds kinda brutal and old-fashioned, I hope no one really does that anywhere!

Check your inotify maximums - this is the system which monitors directory contents and notifies applications of changes. These maximums used to be pretty low, but should be high enough for most users these days. Do you tend to work with multiple directories containing lots of files?

It's a really pretty game that gives you a small taste of what it must've been like to be a roaming varmint in the early days of the US.
The missions feel very much on rails IMO. Several have just felt to me like a shooting gallery at a funfair.
I admittedly haven't got very far - maybe 25% - and what put me off a bit was how the game handles a bounty on your head. Bounty hunters seem to spawn randomly near you, and have supernatural abilities to home in on you. I tried sneaking up on them to pick them off one by one, but that just triggers more and more to spawn in. It really seemed like the GTA "Wanted" mechanic with increasing stars, and it kinda killed the immersion for me.
Haven't heard of it before, looks to be made by Cloudflare. Cloudflare don't seem to be a totally awful company, but that's always just one CEO-change away.
Their web site sounds promising, saying "Turnstile can generate multiple types of non-intrusive challenges to verify users are human, all without showing visitors a puzzle." and "Unlike CAPTCHA options, Turnstile never harvests data for ad retargeting."

I've driven a little around Portugal, and their roads were the worst I've ever driven on. Not just potholes, but the roads were often wonky and/or not flat (think like undulations like waves as you're driving along), missing road markings etc. The quality drop was really noticeable when you drove from Spain into Portugal. It was about 8 years ago so it's possible they've really got their act together since then, but I'm skeptical about how reliable their data is if Portugal is listed as the country with the 5th best roads in the world...
I don't know, but I would have thought that the key task of the OS is to provide an abstraction that allows apps to run on supported hardware. So it takes care of file access and creation, outputing to the screen, interacting with external devices such as keyboards, webcams etc.
If you already have a browser running, you already have some kind of OS taking care of those low level details.
Cat grass (despite the name lol) is a different thing to catnip (which is the one that gets them spaced out). Cat grass is just a type of regular grass that you can grow indoors for your cat to eat.
Outdoor cats will eat grass to help their digestion, so it's important to have something safe for indoor cats to eat otherwise they will just eat anything green and that could be bad for them.
It's easy enough to grow from seed or you can get it already growing in a pot.
