I'll be real - Osaka, Tokyo, Kyoto, Sapporo, etc are all flooded with tourists and immigrants. Now this isn't me being racist, I'm not even Japanese- but there's a huge difference between these cities that LARP as traditional Japan to tourists and cities in the countryside that genuinely don't have to. It's a real shame how the culture has changed in Japan, and it's sad that most foreigners don't realize that. So I don't blame residents for recognizing that.
Also it's generally understood that these lawsuits are just ways for countries to get money from Meta, since it looks a lot better than saying you're taxing the social media giants
I work at Meta. They'll spend 1/10,000th of that on lawyers and lobbying instead. There's a zero point zero percent change that even a fraction of this gets paid.
And the states suing know that too - it's just politicians trying to grab headlines.
A brief google search suggests he was arrested for being part of Antifa/evidence obstruction?
Edit:
Corruptly Concealing a Document or Record, by transporting a box containing numerous Antifa materials, such as insurrection planning, anti-law enforcement, anti-government, and anti-immigration enforcement documents and propaganda from Sanchez Estrada’s residence to a location in Denton, Texas, intending to conceal the box’s contents and impair its availability for use in a federal grand jury and federal criminal proceeding.
edit: Not sure why I'm downvoted for providing facts. The post says it's about zines when it's not. You can think Antifa being designated as terrorism is removed and you'd probably be right, but the post is still wrong

The set of things I can do with 20T but not 1T is very small
Article doesn't show image. Disappointed.
Tbh how do you draw the gradient of "protecting culture" and "racism"?

Genuine question. What do you want from them? Many non-depressed people don't understand what it feels like, and immediately try to think of solutions

The shareholder catering will continue until morale improves
Same is true about non-slop projects

Even more generous to say a Windows update takes 5 minutes
Had a second take until I saw the community name, was waiting for the downturn
