I prefer to do my 3D modelling in OpenSCAD because 2D visualizations are harder to work with than math & code.

It's expensive, too. You're paying for the procedure, for the surrogates time and health care - and there are still no guarantees that you'll end up with a child. Expect ~$100-150k if you're willing to travel to exploit a woman in a third world country.
And a newborn/toddler is no walk in the park. Expect about two years of lost work.
Are you even in a financial position where this is feasible?
When the internet was new, hip and cool in 1997 it was the best way for a poor student to really get knees deep into networking and hosting. I just haven't seen much reason to try anything else.
I did use OS X for work when doing iOS development a few years.
And in a perfect world I'd rather run a UNIX certified operating system. Linux support is just so good at the moment that I can't really be bothered.
It's beneficial for reasoning to have models trained in a few languages. Chinese is a good one because one character is one word is one token.
To be fair, I've kept my previous computer around, too. So I've been enjoying doom on the VIC-20 for the last 16 years already.

I 'member getting two sheets of dot-matrix-printed bad blocks with my 26MB harddrive. It took forever to fill those in the BIOS for the XT controller.

I don't have any music subscription service.
I self-host navidrome where I stream musical soundtracks for long drives. Book of Mormon and little shop of horrors are my gotos when I get drowsy.
When doing focused work I stream hypr demoscene radio. I'm a software engineer and demo soundtracks just get me in the zone.
There's plenty of BBSes still being hosted on hardware like this. Like fria bad.
Most of them do require a proper PETSCII terminal, to keep the lamers out.
