This is actually a win. The original site was going through an ecological sensitive area. People fought to protect the "grave" of a fictional character but accidentally protected a delicate ecology. That is more important than protecting the dead, real or not.

There is an argument because the people who own the AI companies have enough money to astroturf social media.

Asking for money six days before posting the allegations idoes seem a bit like extortion to me. The whole thing is hard to assess because people have taken their posts down.

The connection is that Windows records everything you do. So the FBI asks for every Windows user who accessed a specific site around a date/time and Microsoft can provide that.

You accessed a site over VPN? Your ISP has no idea it was you, , and the VPN didn't keep records, but Windows recorded that and sent it back to the mothership with your unique identifier.

It would be good to know the refund rate on other games before deciding if this is a problem specific to short games. Maybe that 90% positive review would have been much, much lower if people couldn't get refunds. A $5 game with 70% reviews is not getting 250,000 sales.

The healthcare system should be focused on preventative care. Exercise and eat well all your life and, statistically, you will have way less health issues. Paying people a small amount to take care of themselves is going to be cheaper than dealing with obesity-induced chronic health issues.
