The last job I applied for appeared very suddenly on LinkedIn on a Saturday. it was for a company I had no idea even hired software developers. I threw my CV at it, ranted in one of the question boxes about how using MVC as an example of a design pattern is a bit odd because it's more of an architectural pattern, and that CQRS sounds good on paper but everyone in the team has to know it or it falls apart. By the end of the week, the ad was down, I had an interview scheduled and after a technical interview I had a job offer. This was... About 2 years ago.
I hate cookie banners because UX keep going "We keep getting holes in our analytics!" and blaming me for it. I understand the whole "We want to see at what point people are dropping out of the login process so we can make it easier for them to complete the journey" but it's still fucking annoying when they complain about analytics drops when our users are naturally very privacy focused and I can't control whether they deny cookies or not!
There might be ways of tracking without using cookies, but I'm apparently not allowed to use those because the GA is controlled by someone other than me.
As you can see from about 2020 onwards, there was an absolute DELUGE of trash games. Of course the majority of games aren't going to make anything, Steam makes zero effort to curate anything. A thousand games can get released per day and the vast vast majority of them you never even notice.
You have 4 in your library, but only 1 is installed; it's Call of Duty. Since there's no need for physical media anymore, the footprint of games has ballooned to the point where if you want to install CoD, it's going to cost you 2TB of storage. They threw in 8k textures just for the 0.0001% of players that actually have an 8k TV, and there are a lot of textures since the Big Chungus update which introduced 255 different coloured Chungus textures for every weapon and weapon attachment combination in the game.
Not trans, but I'm very close friends with someone that is. Her words are: "Second Puberty is a bitch to deal with". Those hormone changes are going to kick your arse! You'll get over it though, just be prepared for it.
It was needed to shunt the universe back to the way it was!

The internet DOES give you unlimited access to knowledge. The problem is:
Not all of that knowledge is useful
Learning is pretty boring when compared to arguing with someone about a book neither of you have read but are too proud to admit it.
Hook it up to a bong and you've suddenly made work a hell of a lot more interesting.
You have a GARDEN?! That means you have property! Livin' the dreeeeeeam!

Just once I want to pet a bat, just see if they're as soft and fluffy as they look.
Compensation? They should be fucking executed!
8GB RAM isn't even enough to run Teams + Windows 11 on corporate PCs, not with all the other bullshit they make you install.
Yes because while he's dying again and again, I can find a way to derail the trolly.
That would mean being able to get a job that pays enough to be able to live in London.
Yet my best friend who is trans wants to fucking move here! I keep saying it's a terrible idea and I want to leave, but noooooo...
There was a Dead Rising 4? All I remember is there being a Dead Rising 3 when the Xbox One launched and everyone hated it.
Wow so she's selfish in the bedroom? #NotMyQueen
Oh c'mon if she was truly attractive she'd have two of her claws cut short.

Geeks and Gamers are a notorious right-wing grifter. Take everything they say with a massive truckload of salt, and then another truckload.
Water 7 is apparently democratic... To a degree.
