Idk about this book specifically but the collection it's a part of has been going on since the 90s and isn't anywhere near the type of propaganda in that video, Russian fiction just has some funny covers, especially in the fantasy/sci Fi war novel genre

Working in academia I've had to explain to a lot of girls that older men flirting with them repeatedly isn't a normal thing and they should 100% report them to the proper channels if they felt uncomfortable. It sucks that even when there's any amount of support it's still so poorly communicated.

But the post literally says "romantic" which implies that you're interested in them, nobody is asking you to play therapist for dudes you don't like the idea is to allow them to be vulnerable in your relationship. For what it's worth I've never had issues with this in my own relationships or with my male friends but then again I run in very specific circles it seems. I don't get why everything has to pass some test of cost-benefit these days, I've been people's sole support system before and while it was rough I wouldn't have gone back and let them continue to be miserable just to avoid "kind of a lot".

Take whatever the price of your food is, multiply it by 1.3-1.5 because restaurants have to make up the 30% they pay the company, then add an extra $30 for taxes, fees, and a tip. Food delivery got boiling frog'd like rideshares after market capture and needing to stop subsidizing post-IPO. Funnily enough drivers are making less than they ever have despite all the price increases, funny how that works.

Idk how widespread it is but I've volunteered with organizations that get massive shipments of unsold food that's then repackaged by them and then given out or sold at a substantially lower cost, so this does happen. This is backed by federal laws limiting the liability of donors, and at least in my state there are also laws limiting food waste to incentivize participation in such programs.

My dentist told me most of the issues with soda at least for dental health can be mitigated by rinsing with water afterwards so that the low ph environment that results in enamel decay doesn't last long enough to do serious damage

The issue afaik is that Jeff bezos's $200B is in assets like stocks, and the buy borrow die strategy of getting loans using assets as collateral lets rich people spend money without actually cashing in said assets which would trigger capital gains taxes. Idk how to stop this prevalent strategy but between that and the corporate tax system ignoring money that goes back into the company letting corporations invest their profits to ignore taxes that's why so few taxes are collected on those groups. Feel free to correct anything inaccurate.

I remember hearing that putting googly eyes on things made people much less likely to steal them. Maybe a similar principle
