I believe they had word count and photo/video buffs to the score of each review. Not saying that's the case here, but the actual content of the review textbox didnt impact the final score in this Local Guides program.

Streamers are best friends with AAA devs. Streamers encourage this crap and play innocent/hostile when called out for it. Gamers are willing participants because they'll give them views on YT or bits on Twitch as a reward for supporting the very industry both parties bitch about.

It's one of the reasons I don't consider myself a gamer anymore.

One of Ryan George's videos explained one reason these reviews exist. Google used to have a pretty robust Local Guide designation for reviewers who were actively reviewing locations. They game-ified reviews and naturally some people wanted a high score. So, they would review things like parking lots and other places that are usually not 'review-able'.

I'm sure y'all have enough untaxed Asian, Saudi, and American capital that would fill that up pretty quickly. It would just upset the friends who put people in power. So, if Germany is saying this, I can only assume they want Europe to gut social services.

Start confiscating capital and have the courage to withstand the dirty looks from the Davos elite.

Since I cant afford a console or gaming PC, im stuck with mobile games. With that said Star Trek Fleet Command is a game I quit after sinking a year into it. I was an active member of a group the whole time.

This was several years ago when it became abundantly clear they were starting an even more aggressive push for microtransactions. It also became clear that the updates to the game were only for the benefit of the "whales" (big spenders).

I made the announcement to my group, parled my ship in a graveyard that most of the server respected, let those around my level harvest my ship, said goodbye, then deleted my account.

It was weird almost going through withdrawals and the sadness of no longer playing with my group.

I'll get fed up and he-man flick the duvet until there's a more even distribution of fluff. (There seems to be an allegory in there somewhere.)
