I spread a bunch of clover seed around my yard, and where the grass was struggling (I don’t water or fertilize at all) the clover took over, and where the grass was doing ok naturally the clover sort of let the grass have that space mostly. Now the whole yard looks nice, and the clover is just fucking loaded with bees all day. It’s great. My dog just lies in the lush clover and watches the bees buzz around.

No ordnance against putting used condoms in household waste

Good to know the military won’t drop bombs on me for throwing out a used dong bag.

No, a proper honeypot has a lid with a little notch at the edge to accommodate the honey …thing…? I dunno, I’ve used them a lot but I don’t know what they’re called.

In addition, with our current grid (and many of the things that run on it), frequency is incredibly important. Having giant, heavy, spinny things with lots of inertia does wonders for naturally maintaining a very constant grid frequency as loads fluctuate.

While I fully agree this doesn’t solve any affordability concerns, for those with no affordability concerns that $200/month is better served in a portfolio, which will inevitably have a higher return than a secured interest rate. This does help, but it only helps people with no issues with affording a home in the first place, and can use the system to make further gains (albeit fairly minor).

Judging by his fingernails being so dirty, I’m guessing he’s a tradesperson. Tradespeople tend to damage/chip/break nails. As for the odd thumb position, I’m guessing he initially was holding it looking at the back, and turned his hand to show the front a bit for the photo, leading to the awkward thumb position.

It says “nutrition”, but the quality of the photo makes the dot of the i’s blend to the body. But there are only three vertical lines (representing “iti”).

TCAS warnings initially come up about 90 seconds before a potential collision, and a resolution advisory comes up about 60 seconds before a collision. A resolution advisory is obviously a serious situation, but it’s early enough that the climb or descent commands are really not anything crazy, not anything outside a normal climb or descent. No one should be hitting the ceiling if a tcas resolution is flown properly.
