Funny story, was spending a weekend at my friend's family cabin and I started singing this to his toddler nephews and they loved it, could never get enough BOPS! After a few days i showed my buddy and his sister the video and they both were like what the fuck is wrong with you? She called me on their drive home to tell me the kids wouldn't stop singing it and she couldn't get the video out of her head.

I would say the cruel joke is that people are defending her. I think the joke is that this case is normalizing this possibilty and less joking about dead kids.

One of my favorite fan theories is that the authors did not name the ship after the horse from don quixote directly. There is a Rush song called Cygnus X-1 that's basically a space opera and the ship in that song is called the Rocinate, and one of the authors of The Expanse is a huge rush fan. So in my mind that is where the ships name comes from.

I was upset about the expanse too. Talked to a coworker for a while about it and he said go read the books, just start at book 7 you really won't be missing much. So I did and immediately knew the 30 year time jump wouldn't have worked on screen. We still might get more a few years down the line when the actors age up. Also I'm glad I got into the books it was the spark that got me into audiobooks. Started listening to the expanse authors new series and I think that's getting picked up by Amazon as well.

How dare you speak logic that even remotely gives creedance to this madness! Also anyone with 2 brain cells should be somewhat curious why this man was given a blanket pardon. His diary also raises questions why he was actively reccomending stuff months if not years after he dismissed it in said "private" diary.

Look I get it orange man bad and all but Fauci is no saint. The fact everyone on here is so adamant that he is the second coming really shows they don't know his history during the AIDS crisis and his harm to the gay community.

Just finished book 3 and I will say the added railway layout confusion kinda took me out of the story, I would find myself rewinding full descriptions several times and still not understanding. The author took a lot of time to describe the different train lines and all the stations but I just stopped caring because it really didn't matter. Just annoying he took the time to explain everything but it still made no sense.

Book 4 starts way better, with the showrunner explaining the rules and the objectives as soon as they get to the 5th floor.

If I were to guess is your car made by GM, I had to do that on both a Malibu and Colorado. The Colorado needed me to take the air intake off but it was not that difficult.

I was thinking of the movie Joe Dirt, the scene where Christopher Walken was being wheeled away on a stretcher.

I started reading a new series called The Captives War, same author as The Expanse. The book starts on a non-earth planet where humans have a seemingly similar level of science and tech as today. They discuss knowing that this planet is not their home world because they live along side another evolutionary tree but they do not know how they got there.

Its not really the main focus of the story so it hasn't really been explained yet, I only read the first book so far and the third of the trilogy is not yet released. Some fan theories think its a connection to the end of The Expanse book series, where spoiler spoiler the network of portals connecting 1000s of world's is destroyed stranding millions of people on 100s of worlds across the universe.

I just really like the concept of humans industrializing on an alien world and how they got there was simply lost to time. The fan theory is also partially why I like it but I'm sure it will have a different explanation.

As others have said, you're probably thinking of Tenet. I watched it and by the ending I was a bit confused but thought the point of the movie was to be confused on the first watch and the second watch will explain a lot more. NOPE. I watched it again within a week and nothing that is explained in the first half holds up in the second half. They explained the rules and then ignored them to push the plot along. Great idea, very bad execution though.

Sometimes when I walk into the room my dog will just roll over and do this cute little grunt/sigh just inviting me to give her some belly rubs. Sometimes I will turn a corner and she'll be rolled over blocking my way and just gives me this look, like you have to pay the belly rub tax to pass.

Yeah I find myself humming That Funny Feeling quite often.

Cannabis was up until very recently schedule 1. A substance that has almost no addictive potential and has many scientifically proven benefits.

I don't know how heroin is classified to have no therapeutic benefits, when opiates are the most common prescribed pain killers and used in almost every inpatient surgery.

Point being, the drug scheduling system is outdated and shouldn't be trusted to make these types of comparisons.
