I've tried it before and the taste of old bay was so overwhelming that I didn't think I could use it for anything else other than a future seafood boil. Which is why I'm trying to avoid using a bunch of water this time
That would be relative. If I'm boiling down a soup then yes it would be concentrated, but if I'm putting an ingredient in liquid, the ingredient itself will leach flavour into the liquid until equilibrium
Yes but we live in a world where more people will side with an angry asshole than a calm intellectual. The problem is systemic. Our society rewards greed, sociopathy, aggression, and punishes intelligence, progression, equality.
What I've learned in my 35 years of life is that you can't stop stupid people, stupid people will never change, and stupid people will always win by sheer numbers
I think some rotisserie chicken would really round out your meal of lemon rice, hash browns, and iced co£■¥○
Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahshahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
No, just reducing byproducts
Damn that's actually a fantastic idea if I get a sous vide set up one day

The difference is the volume. Instead of boiling it in gallons of water, I'm trying to use more like a cup
Would it taste fine if I steam it all then toss it quick in the butter old bay?
What are some ways you use your stock?
I keep a live tilapia on the dinner table to lick in between bites of food for maximum flavour
Site is pay walled but ya, I would essentially be braising to reduce waste
I'm trying to infuse butter flavour into the ingredients rather than fry

The thing is I feel like I'm throwing away $15-20 worth of ingredients when I finish the boil, can that be used as a soup base or something?
Probably the most aesthetic chili cheese fries I've ever seen. Great execution
Lol you were supposed to pick one or the other
There is no spoon
Bullies usually pick on the nice ones
