Yeah people and the media have this weird fascination with putting solar panels in new places. I don’t think finding locations to add them is as big of an issue for how much people seem to care and want to “solve” it.
It’s dangerous for emergency vehicles to drive in beaches too. There was a case of a patrol SUV running someone over not too long ago. Poor vehicle sight lines is a big factor.
In that case maybe Google was gathering too much insight on the content Netflix users were watching. I’ve heard that Amazon (for a while) stopped including product information in their order confirmation emails because Google was gaining product purchase trend data.
Probably. Or they want to reduce their development and maintenance costs with the extra code for those devices. Or maybe they somehow make more money when users are watching on some other device/software.

It’s not the cause of all issues but car culture is a decent contributor. Incredibly inefficient, costly, bad for the environment and unsafe. Yet we continue to spread out the suburbs further and further and push walking and bikes into the gutters (literally).

It’s probably something to do with training sets taking in movies and social media posts where people prefer to show themselves in “golden hour”.
