This makes me wanna play MGS again. One of the few games - maybe the only one - I finished more than once. Being from the PSX era it still holds up well. It’s honestly a masterpiece and I’m so happy that I was able to play it as a kid when it was released.
Switzerlands rail network is around 5300km long (source) if you cover around 50% of it, that gives roughly 500MWp installed capacity. A modern locomotive has 4-8MW. That gives you enough energy to power 80 locomotives under full load. I expect them to use much less power once in motion so it may be more in reality. That’s not nothing.
Using deadly force against a pregnant woman leads to a dying fetus. That’s just the same thing the long way around. It also gives an infinite loophole to use deadly force against someone using deadly force. Basically the whole country could kill itself legally, with only one person surviving 🤷🏻♂️

I think the cheapest combination would be state owned hospitals and health centers. The state owns the land, pays the staff and buys equipment and medication in huge quantities, which may result in cheaper prices. If not, they could also start producing their own base medication.
A profit oriented health sector is not a good idea. It only gives you minimum care combined with high costs.
Victron user here. The devices they build are rock solid. They may have some tiny quirks here and there but so do other manufacturers.
If you have some engineering background they are perfect. Everything is open, you can write software extensions in node red for example. Best part is it is modular with open interfaces and it uses standard battery voltages. You can optimize everything for your usage and I’m sure you can keep it Running for decades. A Multiplus has the look and feel of hardware made in the 60-70s. But in a good way: Built to last.
Price wise they are more expensive than chinese Equipment but not a lot more expensive than other systems from well known brands. Can highly recommend
I stopped drinking completely. The positive effects are worth it in my case: I feel calmer and I have energy for the whole day without ups and downs. Imagine the state you are after drinking coffee. That’s my normal state now. Caffeine seems to give a high feeling but it seems to be just a feeling because of the stress reaction. It doesn’t help me at all with mental tasks. YMMV, that‘s just my Impression.
My body even reacts to a glass of Coke with an increased heart rate now. So I’ve cut back on caffeine nearly completely. I may drink an espresso now and then in future after a meal. But I will definitely not go back to drink coffee habitually.
In my case it was stress. And a huge part of this stress was caffeine induced (me drinking 3-7 large cups a day). Stopped drinking, after one week of withdrawal (headache, fatigue) the symptoms went away. I’m without symptoms for a year now!
Fuck Starbucks. It’s not the first time I mention this, and I’ll keep mentioning it: When Corona hit Germany, the government reduced the VAT to prevent restaurants from going bankrupt in 2020. Starbucks gave every customer the finger and did not lower the prices, keeping the difference for themselves. I was never a regular customer but this made me blacklist them for life.

German family of Four here: We use around 200liter a day. That’s roughly 50gallons. And we do wash ourselves and our clothes.
