Did you make the /s super small? Like you wanted the littlest deniability that you weren't serious. We know you're kidding, it's just a weak joke. Like they're discussing feminism on Lemmy to get laid? Get some better material

Fuck AI, but if this was something those loud public phone people could wear that would be great. Like the dude shouting into his phone on the bus, pair it with some headphones leave us in peace

Wouldn't you just wash it when you wash your hands? I guess that could be awkward in a public restroom though; don't mind me, just rinsing my piss funnel.

Maybe there's a market for a falsie with a compartment to hold your pee device, because nobody would think twice if your piss-covered prosthetic was between your legs, that's just guy stuff

I feel like race is pretty irrelevant to this story. Boy gets lost, locals help him find his way. The fact he was white and they were black is only relevant because we're expected to relate to the boy's fear of black people.

I've done shipping for a company that sold direct and through partners, and a lot of times they actually make a better margin with Amazon just because of shipping costs. Amazon makes it so much cheaper to ship that even though they take a bigger margin it still saves the company money. Free shipping is a lie, it just means the company eats it and averages it into the price.

That's true, but it's largely due to a market that doesn't prioritize remote clients and a regulatory system which has roped off huge parts of the radio spectrum.

Instead of a starlink receiver talking to low orbit, you could have a dish that uses fixed wireless access or point to point connections to access a terrestrial tower. In exceptional situations geostationary satellites make sense, but these low earth constellations are getting out of control.
