As soon as I saw the screenshot I started getting really excited, and lo and behold after checking the page it is by Richard Cobbett who did Sunless Seas/Skies!! Definitely getting it on release
I don't believe it is a partial download. I mean thats only based on the fact that there's no 'part 2' and the file is only like 150mb, so I feel like there's larger PDFs out there
Fired up my uConsole and took a look. It is showing as a PDF document, version 1.5, 1028 pages (which matches up with what chat GPT tried to spit out). It's weird that it's recognized as a PDF but it somehow isn't
Only tried Firefox so far, but when I try to download it straight through the browser the download times out and fails. I downloaded gopeed since it was recommended on AA and that is how I was able to complete the download
I've been on lemmy long enough to have heard of docker containers, but I have no idea what they are XD I was having issues where my download speed would drop to 0 but eventually was able to get the file itself downloaded, so I'm not sure getting the file is the issue, it's more that opening the file isn't working as I would expect
Yes, I've tried multiple of their slow but free servers, all of them give the same result. Also all of them download a file of the exact same size, so I'm fairly confident that they're downloading the same file regardless of which server you use
Big horns like these are super cool but...
How does she SLEEP?! Laying on your side is definitely out, probably laying on your stomach as well because you still have to turn your head at least a little so you can breathe. Laying on your back would require a special pillow, or a special mattress, maybe both. This poor woman probably hasn't slept properly in years and I am worried for her wellbeing!
I think they're trying to say that once he gets out and marries OP's sister, he's going to treat her like shit since he's clearly a terrible person, and then OP is going to surprised Pikachu at his family in an 'I told you so' kinda way.
So again, I'm definitely not knowledgeable on the subject, but doesn't it take some start up capital to even launch a coin? I guess that initial cash isn't really 'buying' a coin, but if starting a coin costs $20 and you gave yourself 20 coins, didn't you essentially buy the first 20 coins for $1 a piece?
To be clear, I am in no way into meme coins or even crypto at all, but it's my understanding that when you make a new type of crypto, you put some money into it for an arbitrary amount of those coins. They're dev coins because you're the one making it, and you normally get a lot of them because when you start, the coin is next to worthless. As more people buy into the coin however, the price of the coin goes up. This turns into a problem because if the coin gets any kind of traction, there's now one guy who has tons of coins that they bought for next to nothing, but are now worth real money. This is the part of the rug pull where the creator sells all their coins and tanks the value of the coin, making a massive paycheck and leaving anyone else misguided enough to have bought any holding the bag. 'Burning' the coin just essentially deletes it, so it's out of circulation so everyone else who owns them can feel a bit safer, because now there's not 1 guy who can just decide to get out and fuck everyone else over.
TLDR; Dev coins are just the initial amount of coins that the dev bought to start their own meme coin.
Again, IANAL, but this doesn't seem correct. Someone can be charged with murder even without intent to kill. Heck, just googling 'murder' gives you this : The killing of another person without justification or excuse, especially the crime of killing a person with malice aforethought or with recklessness manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life. (Emphasis mine)
The extent of the negligence can be determined so severe that the prosecution may seek murder charges, even if there's no intent to kill.
And the difference between voluntary and involuntary manslaughter really comes down to how the death occurred. Involuntary manslaughter is 'I was negligent and left a baby near a pool and it drowned' vs voluntary being 'I was so angry that I punched my SO to death but I didn't want to kill them'. In both cases you didn't want the other party to die, but in one case you physically caused the death.
IANAL but involuntary manslaughter definitely covers things where people were knowingly negligent and it causes someone to die. The extent of that negligence is where we go from manslaughter to a murder charge. Also this is in Japan, so none of what I think may apply at all!

I only know it because of Limbus Company XD

Thanks for the information! I saw like one video about how people make meme coins, so I had some vague understanding, but this makes a lot more sense.

'If you can smoke a cigarette you can do anything' motherfuckers directly before they tell me to go set up the TEG
It's amazing how every now and again, some how, some way, that video finds its way back into my life.

I love itch.io bundles so much!!! Thank you for posting this
I remember being so excited for oculous back in the day, but then it got bought by Facebook and I knew I'd never buy one.

I've never even played umamasume, and even I was like 'Is that the one who drop kicks the camera?' Definitely the most recognizable character imo
Any recommendations on where to get started? If nothing else, I'd love to read up on the rules and lore of the... characters? Units? Factions maybe?
