Where I am (a small provincial town in north west France) we at least nice small bins on the street. With MASSIVE GREAT BIG BINS underground where the actual rubbish goes.
I am planning the installation of 9KW of solar panels and batteries in my home (the limit in France), but that will not cover all my needs. My home is full electric apart from the wood stove, so I will still need to dip into the grid at times, especially in winter.
I am in an ideal situation too. I have a large flat roof and a garage to house the necessary equipment. The majority of people are not in that position.
Nuclear power the grid so it can be as effective as possible for those that are dependent on it. Give people like me the financial incentives to take some of the load, even if I cannot go completely off grid.
Unfortunately, thanks to the anti-nuclear lobby, we are in a situation where the current reactors will have to be shutdown before the new ones are available to take their place.
Basic paid leave for a CDI/cadre (full time employee) is 25 business days.
On top of that there is RTT. This is because we have a 35 hour work week. In order to do the more typical 40 week, you get those hours back as more paid leave - 10 days.
On top of that there national holidays, of which there are plenty. Most of these revolve around food from what I can tell (I'm a Brit, I just live in France). If those national holidays fall on a weekend, you lose them though, which sucks, but even a bad year is pretty good.
We went from a 2008 Renault to a 2018 BMW. Every time we drive at night I am blown away by the lights. Absolutely brilliant, but basically none of it goes into on-coming traffic.
I looked at his garage, looked at mine and decided I hated him.
Possibly harsh, but I feel it is fair.
Unless I am mistaken, there is no line. If POTUS does in office, vice-POTUS takes over.
Why on earth do you need to trial putting things in a bin?

We need both

I have 7 of them in the guitar amplifier next to my desk.
Send it to the rain forest
Turns out humans are worse than radiation

Woah, what has ubisoft got to do with dull guitar playing?

For cyclists, GCN (and its other associated channels) is has been really good for 10+ years now.
Park Tools is consistently good too.
As is often the case in France, it's complicated.

Shocking
Here in France I have 35 (not including national holidays).
