I clicked on a couple of Jerma videos years ago, and I have now given up clicking 'not interested' every time he pops up again. I have begun suspecting 'active disinterest' being interpreted as a form of interest. Like, there's no saying no, there's only interacting vs. not interacting.

That (ai?) image of a 'European' home doesn't give me great confidence in the map. I live in a communally owned, non-profit apartment complex which is common where I'm from. So I'm guessing that counts toward red in this map.

With what was posted there, it's enough for me that it originated on 4chan at all. Part of me wants to tell people what kind of place the rickroll came from, but then I'd be hard pressed to explain why on Earth I ever went there. You can't separate all evolved cultural trends from that place, but there is just no way it's ever going to sit right with me.

Maybe the zipper option was a separate checkbox, and the Chinese machinist who set up production didn't read a word of English.

Once as a kid I ran my hand through some leaves on a tree, and a large dragonfly clamped down on the fleshy part between the thumb and the index. I shook my hand violently and looked at it. Fucker's whole body was torn off, but the head was still there, just biting me. Shook again and it was gone. Fucking traumatic.

I don't think the intended message is that all indie games are great. The message is that if you're frustrated with AAA-games and haven't considered indie games, you should.

I need to see that eye floating outside his head when his back is turned too. We either commit to this idiocy or we don't.

edit: bit harsh

It's been fine, except for the issue I already described. The build quality is decent, but nothing special. There's a ridge down the middle that's a bit wider than it should be. The display button recedes a bit far into the case and so can get a little annoying to push. It's got some nice rubber feet, and the orange might make it easier to spot in a dark tent. I haven't put it through heavy or methodical testing though. Just mentioning things that I haven't seen mentioned in reviews. It's a heavy item for a backpack, so might be worth reconsidering if it's overkill for your needs anyway.

I bought the Jackery Explorer 100 and am coupling it with a 45W panel. I figured the Jackery would be better for solar than an average power bank, because they already package it in a bundle with their own panel. BUT since both USB C ports on the Jackery can do both power in/out, I think the Jackery can actually get confused about whether it's supposed to be charging or discharging, when the panel is running at very low output.. ... at least, that's how I interpret having returned to it and seeing it discharged when connected to the panel.
