But I truly want them here. I work in the automotive industry and yeah, they’re scared shitless. However, from my point of view it seems like a greed thing. It would drive competition hard and that would mean short to medium term r&d cost increases.

We are so fucking far behind it’s not even funny. Shutting out the competition is just putting our head in the sand. It is time to get into gear.

The thing about this though, is that before the advice dog and the impact font era, memes had a lot more variety. To me, this was watered down normie shit.

On paper, I feel like onion acquiring infowars could have been kind of uninteresting, but the way it’s unfolding has me dying laughing. Tim Heidecker being involved, Alex still having access to the studio, shirtless, ranting and raving about how the left are body snatchers (as if he didn’t completely bring this on himself).

It’s borderline adult swim absurdity. I love it

Man, I totally agree. This is "my game", I also play it daily, and I love it. But I can't help but think it would absolutely flourish with different game types.

I don’t disagree, they’re all bad. I think reddit stands somewhere in the middle, and it all depends on what you value. For me, the combination of the bot problem and the weird need to hunt people down and harass them was what made me leave. This is specifically what the video I posted is about. The videos title is a little hyperbolic but it was early and I didn’t feel like coming up with a new one, my apologies for the bad headline.

One of the reasons I am here is because the AI/bot problem on reddit is getting too bad. I was a big contributor to the site but I just cannot deal with the slop anymore. I used the platform for like 17 years, but I am done.

I couldn’t go back if I wanted to.

I love the way it looks and how it feels to use it. I have hundreds of animations made in it. I used it when I was a kid in the 90s and picked it back up in 2013 or so.
