Thanksforallthefish summarized it well, but there would be no effect on users. It’s just a different kind of server software that connects to lemmy easily as is. The only effect it might have is on app support but mind you this is months away from happening so many apps have already started to support piefed

Be prepared to be defederated from almost immediately as it opens by people... as well, as an instance admin, I can say it is hard. Even for a small instance. As well, people are just going to downvote your instances content as soon as its posted. The only reason we have the harry potter community still on literature.cafe is because its dead and most posts to it are critique of the TERF JK Rowling and the series, if it was positive content we'd likely have to delete it.

It's great in my opinion! I do need the unlimited search plan but that's because I search so much. The AI stuff is pretty unobstructive too, and can pretty much be disabled if you want to. I like the way you can search lemmy with it especially.

For some there is such a thing as cannabis-induced psychosis, especially in those with a familial predisposition for psychotic disorders. I think that's the biggest thing to be talked about in a mental health setting.
