In an early next Gen episode, 11001001, a group from a race called Binars are on the ship upgrading the holodeck. This is the start of holograms being more human like. I made three assumptions after that episode: 1, that the Binars continued to go around and upgrade other ship holodecks, 2, that these upgrades were reverse engineered and incorporated into future holo stuff, and 3, that Starfleet didn't actually know how the upgrades worked. I think this can account for how advanced holo stuff is when it should be just controlled by the ship computer.
The terminal emulator is the window displaying the text. That used to be a physical screen called a terminal. The program that decides what text to show is the shell.
This comic references the movie Superman from 1978, in which Superman travels back in time. They chose to show this time travel as the earth spinning backwards and people got confused thinking that they were implying if you spin the earth backwards time would go backwards. The comic is referencing that confusion, or playing into it.
I've actually switched, so I'm not really who you are asking, but the last hurdle was I really don't like how it filters the movie list when you pick a letter instead of jumping to that place in the list. Anyone know how to make it work like Plex?
Hi. I just moved to Blorp from Voyager (what a weird sentence) and I love how it doesn't reset the entire app when I go to another app and back, a bad habit Voyager has. One thing Voyager does that I kinda miss is being able to see local posts but with communities I'm subscribed to filtered out. I used that to find new communities to subscribe to. Other than that I'm loving the app so far.
Is this somehow loss?

Even worse. The Amazon app is trash that sometimes doesn't work at all, but the Amazon website works well on mobile.
The holideck on the Enterprise was special, the Binars upgraded it in the early episode 11001001.

I didn't understand, why not use nginx? It has built in support for let's encrypt by default, you just have to activate it in the nginx config. https://nginx.org/en/docs/http/ngx_http_acme_module.html
