Yeah, I could see that. I could have used different tools to make a GIF of the entire 1 minute 20 second jump, but it'd have been 4 frames per second. If it was only the landing, it wouldn't have looped well.
The board is only on his feet, and he can do aerial flip tricks with it. As for the wing, he seems to be harnessed into it. With the handlebar, he can shift his weight like a hang glider amd control the wing.

Usually, yes, just fly over everything. The problem is that most buildings don't have rooftop entrances and we have to actually be at street level to enter. In urban areas like this, people don't look up, so they'll never see you try to vertically merge into their lane from above. You have to land safely as close as you can, then be a land vehicle or a pedestrian until you reach the door. Like a Final Fantasy airship, basically.
Try Proxmox Virtual Environment with community post-install scripts. It's a little virtual data center that you install on a dedicated small PC. You can run all kinds of services like a Linux VM, Pi-Hole, Copyparty, Romm, and stuff. It'll make !selfhosted@lemmy.world very happy.

Hooray for physical media! There are enough super common DVDs out there to keep these stocked for a while.
Edit: @negativenull@piefed.world has a great point. DVDs don't take temperature changes well. Maybe movies are better served digitally in this case. What if we made an Internet in a Box or Khan Academy on a Raspberry Pi with added movies that we, um, have permission to distribute over Wi-Fi.

I really wanted to do a kickflip for you, but the only broom I found that can kickflip is Jaaacee310's Marisa Kirisame mod for ReTHAWed. I don't have ReTHAWed installed, and I couldn't find any other images or videos of skater Marisa in action.
