Oh, so it does. My mistake.

I think my point stands though that its not the number of hours in a day that upsets me, its the numbers of days in a week.

I literally want the opposite of this. I don't want to go to work six days a week for six hours, that just ruins and extra day of the week.

As it is, I go to work 5 days a week for 8 hours. I have 5 ruined days and 2 useful ones.

I would like to be able to work four days a week for ten hours. Then I have gained a whole day a week! And I usually work a bit of overtime anyway, what difference does it make if I'm going home at 5 like most people instead of going home at 3?

Sailfish is not proprietary.

Lipstick (the UI) is proprietary. The OS itself is not.

That said, as someone who uses a SailfishOS phone everyday, I both wish Lipstick was OSS and wish this Commodore thing didn't exist. It's only going to bring poor publicity to Sailfish due to its stupid pricetag and featureset.

Eh, I'm an Australian who works with old British machinery, so I'm used to thinking in Imperial too. You'll never get away from it, not in our lifetimes.

Diesel is equivalent to 2 €/Liter in Australia right now. Given that the country runs on diesel, its a nightmare. Even the few people who don't own cars are hurting, because the ships that bring in food run on diesel, the trucks and trains that bring the food from the ports to the rest of the country run on diesel. The grain producers and cattle farms, some of which are the size of small countries, all run on diesel. The cost of diesel is hitting everyone.

My car is 46 years old. Average vehicle in Australia is 10-12 years old. People who exclusively lease new cars are nuts! Assuming petrol is still around I'll keep my car going as long as I can - and even then I'll only swap an electric drivetrain into it. There's nothing wrong with the rest of the car
