I love the picture! A vegan encouraged me to try soy milk with my coffee. After a little time with it, I've found that it's easier for me to froth the way that I like it, it has a "fattier" mouthfeel than skim milk (maybe closer to 2% or full) and it hold on to the cinnamon flavor better while being lower calorie and saturated fat.
You only hear the people giving hate because the others don't say anything.
I was one of the [silent] haters. Like, why get a bike if you're going to just ride it without pedaling? Then, I realized that this is one less car on the road. Kids are getting outside more. People are using the sidewalks and trails and bike oaths so the city will make more. One less car in the parking lot. Yeah, this is moving the needle in the right direction.
I have a full reverse osmosis system at home. On city water. Installed it when my ice cubes melted and left some sandy sludge at the bottom of the glass. I use it to make crystal clear ice and to fill up the aquarium with safe water. Also, for drinking water in the spring when the water smells like dead fish for some reason.
We had a guy out who specialized in this stuff and he said to install the RO system to the fridge and a tap and leave the toilet water as it comes from the city. Installed it myself for cheap when the system went on closeout.
When you cook the rice, you said that the cinnamon stick, cardamom & cloves float to the top. Does that mean that you cook the rice with more water than it needs, then drain off the excess?
I was wondering if the city would allow me to express my patriotism by flying the biggest flag I can find directly in front of every one of these cameras.
Similar. For me it's finding something just difficult enough to keep focus on but not so much as to keep me awake. People have told me to clear my head of thoughts, but that doesn't work, so i crowd them out.
Counting sheep is too easy. Try counting in base 2: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, etc. If that doesn't work, try Fibonacci: 1, 2, 3, 5, 8 (keep adding the previous 2 numbers.) If you are visual, do the shapes or imagine every branch of a tree.
I'm so glad that the governments are finally starting to realize that they're better at raising our children than the biological parents. We're one step closer to the Brave New World that we all desire.
From the people I talk to, they celebrate that he can do this. To them, he's their hero who can get away with anything. It's a lot like if your favorite sports team can foul but not get called on it. As long as your sports team wins, it's all good.
The last paragraph has the explanation:
explanation:
This means that datacentres – and the AI boom – carry a disproportionate share of US growth, and a large part of why the world’s largest economy, despite significant headwinds, still looks healthy. Any dent in this expenditure could have economic, and thus political, consequences.
...and then sue the camera company and then sue the city or property owner that allowed the cameras to be in use and then use the money to buy a politician to write and pass a law to disallow warrantless surveillance.
Agreed on constant tones. I have headphones that can block out the lawn equipment pretty good. The one neighbor has a service that comes and they're gone in 15 minutes. 3 guys with leaf blowers at the end for 90 seconds and the headphones make them sound like they're a few blocks away. The other neighbor is trigger happy and he likes to rev it up and down and my headphones can't keep up. I shut the windows and gnash my teeth for the 15 minutes it takes him to blow his yard.
This is indeed a concrete technical fact!

This feels like playing a board game with a 4 year old. They'll change the rules when they think they're losing. I expect more from our world leaders.

I knew a guy who would wear a high visibility vest like road construction workers wear. Also a bright orange helmet. It seemed to make a difference.

All of it. Probably more successfully since it's based on research and facts, not emotional speculation. Cheaper, too.
